Alex Schomburg renders a truly awesome cover showing the Human Torch , the Sub-Mariner, and Captain America assaulting Hitler's Berchtesgaden. This infamous castle was taken at the end of World War II by Easy Company. The true story of the taking of "Eagle's Nest" was portrayed in HBO's awe inspiring drama "Band of Brothers." If you're a WW II buff and haven't seen that series, you're missing out. I digress, Schomburg always had the knack for dramatic action as this cover shows. The choice of colors for the Nazis is somewhat odd though. Inside this swell premiere issue, one will find not just stupefying stories revolving around the aforementioned trio of heroes but also a Black Widow story.
