This Kamenish cover shows what is typical of the jungle genre from the late 1940s. A couple of brave adventurers get captured by African natives and are brought before their tribal leader... a gorgeous and WHITE brunette!?!?!? How those brunettes got into Africa and became tribal leaders sure is a mystery methinks! Maybe the riddle is revealed inside and then again maybe this was just a clever ploy to get more boys to buy the book and dream of being interrogated by a beauty queen like this one. Her tribal dress is a tad.... inviting if not provocative, eh? And yet her knees being drawn in suggest her being chaste. Anyway, this comic is a Gerber White Space and is thusly thought to be fairly scarce.
