Hit Comics #11

May 1941 Quality
Another classic Lou Fine cover showcasing the masters' ability to render truly cool covers! His bear drawing skills need a little sharpening though, eh? The artwork for this particular cover has been offered by our friends at Heritage Auction Galleries (click here to see it). Give them a call, they might still have it for sale! As cool as the artwork for this issue is, just as cool is the actual comics scarcity: according to the Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books, less than 50 copies of this issue remain in existence! Inside this rare treasure, you'll find some artwork by Reed Crandall who would go on to do many great covers for 1950s comic powerhouse E.C.
