This comic is quite representative of the Big Monster era of Atlas' late 1950's early '60's titles. Invariably, the duo of Jack "King" Kirby and Dick Ayers would concoct some giant monster hell bent on destroying the world. The best part of this period are the silly names of the terrors. Here we have "Taboo." Other favorites include "Googam," "Sporr," "Goom," and of course, who could forget "Fin Fang Foom!"? All of the issues from this period are quite scarce in high grade.
