What needs to be said about this book? It is one of the most prized possessions of anyone who owns a copy. This Classic Alex Schomburg cover shows a beautiful fair maiden about to be sacrificed at the hands of a hooded Nazi as a brave hero looks on. L.B. Cole contributes art to one story. While this copy is far from perfect, it is complete (and many copies in existence are not). Gerber estimates that there are less than 10 known copies in existence - little wonder, as what parent would want their kid to read a comic with a cover such as this!
