Boy, what can be said about this cover?!?!? It is one of the most brutal bondage and headlight covers of all! Bob Lubbers drew many covers like this for Fiction House and the fans just lapped them up! Fiction House in the late forties was notorious for bondage, headlights and extreme violence against women in all of their titles (e.g. Jumbo Comics, Jungle Comics, and Planet Comics). Kind of makes one wonder if the head of the editorial department didn't have some major issues with the fairer sex, eh? Anyway, the poor buxom brunette on this cover has realized her dire straights and impending doom! The expression on her face is priceless! One does wonder why the airplane that she is tied to is colored pink though! The stories inside are just as graphic as there's burning alive, firing squad, lingerie, and negligee panels. J.
